# Alliance Quantum PRO400 Harness Installation

This document will walk you through the process of installing your Airwallet Pro400 harness to your Speed Queen machine. This guide is for the following machines:

• Quantum Gold Pro Washers

• Quantum Gold Pro Dryers

Included in the kit:

• Airwallet Pro400 Unit

• Pro400 Quantum Gold Pro Harness (**BLACK** connector)

# Recommended Dashboard Setup

Pulse Type: Fixed
Pulse operated 
pulse length: 80 ms
pulse repetition: Program Specific
busy signal: Low

# Recommended Machine Setup

Airwallet pulses the “DOLLAR” drop connection and so the dollar side (dEn2) of the machine should be programmed to $.25 for value of the pulse. Refer to your machine documentation for programming the machine pricing values.

Installing Airwallet Harness

||| WARNING! Disconnect power or turn off breaker prior to performing this installation.

1\. Power down the machine by unplugging or turning of the breaker.

2\. Open the front control Using the required key and pull open**.** 
|| !CAUTION! Take care not to pull on the wires connected to the panel as they may be damaged.

3\. Locate the 12-pin **BLACK** control harness plugged into the front control.

4\. If the machine harness is present, unplug the machine harness and plug the Airwallet Pro harness into the machine. Plug the machine harness into the Airwallet Pro harness.

5\. Locate the power connection inside the control pocket. Unplug the existing harness and plug in the Airwallet power harness connection and plug the machine harness in to the Airwallet harness.

6\. Plug in the feed back connection to the board in the back of the control pocket on the corresponding connection. If this board does not exist, you can leave it unplugged but you will need to change the BUSY SIGNAL to NO signal.

7\. If the Dashboard programming has not been done prior, make sure to note the serial number or take pictures of the label on the bottom of the PRO400 unit.

8\. Mount the Airwallet unit inside the machine using the mounting tape. It is recommended to mount the reader inside the front panel close to the control board or on the outside back of the machine to ensure a quality connection.

9\. Once you have confirmed all connections are made, and the serial numbers are gathered you can reassemble the machine and proceed to the software setup.
