# United States only: What is the Card Present Fee on Anton?

|| This fee applies only to locations in the United States. Locations in all other countries do not pay this fee.

From 1 October 2026, Airwallet charges a Card Present Fee of $0,15 for each machine start that is paid on an Anton terminal at a location in the United States.

**One start, one fee.** The fee is for each machine start, not for each payment. It is a flat fee, with no percentage. Airwallet takes the fee from your payout. The price that your users pay at the machine does not change.

**The fee applies when** a user pays on Anton with a bank card or a phone to start a machine.

**The fee does not apply when**
* a user pays in the Airwallet app.
* the location is in a country other than the United States.

**For example**
* A user pays $4,00 on Anton to start one washer. Airwallet takes $0,15 from your payout.
* A user pays on Anton to start three machines in one payment. This is three starts, so Airwallet takes $0,45 from your payout.
* A user pays in the Airwallet app to start the same three machines. There is no fee.
