# Maytag MXR Series PRO300/Universal Harness Installation (NO FEEDBACK)

# **Maytag MXR Series**

**This document will walk you through the process of installing your Airwallet Pro330 to your MAYTAG machines. This guide is for the following machines:**

**• MXR with coin terminal block**


### **What is needed:**

**• Airwallet Pro330 Unit**

**• (2) 3M 951K Crimp RED**

**• (2) 3M 950K BLUE Spade adapters**

**• (4) BLUE MALE/FEMALE SPADE crimp connectors**

**• Maytag Key**

# Installing Airwallet Unit

||| WARNING! Disconnect power or turn off breaker prior to performing this installation.

1\. Power down the machine by unplugging or turning off the breaker.

2\. Unlock the top panel and open the top panel. Use prop kickstand to hold top open

# COIN CONNECTION

1\. Locate the coin drop connection terminal, mounted to the top of the coin vault.

2\. Crimp a female spade connector to the WIRE 3 and WIRE 4 on the Airwallet harness.

3\. Insert WIRE 3 into the spare spade connector corresponding with the RED wire of the coin drop.

4\. Insert WIRE 4 into the spare spade connector on the terminal corresponding with the GREEN wire of the

# POWER CONNECTION

1\. Locate the Contactor inside the rear of the machine. It will generally have YELLOW and BLACK wires.

||| POWER DOWN MACHINE! HIGH VOLTAGE PRESENT!

2\. Loosen the terminal screw for L1 and insert the WIRE 1 into the slot with the BLACK wire. There is no need
to remove the ferule installed on the wire. Tighten the screw.

3\. Loosen the terminal screw for L2 and insert the WIRE 2 into the slot with the YELLOW wire. There is no
need to remove the ferule installed on the wire. Tighten the screw.

Mount the Airwallet device by either using the adhesive on the bottom and adhering to the inside of the machine. Preferably in a spot where the device will not fall into the moving parts.

You can also zip tie the device to the wire loom on the left side of the machine.

# DASHBOARD SETUP

If the Dashboard programming has not been done prior, make sure to note the serial number or take pictures of the label on the bottom of the PRO300 unit.

Once you have confirmed all connections are made, and the serial numbers are gathered you can
reassemble the machine and proceed to the software setup.
