Can I connect Airwallet to my own reporting system?
API access
Yes. Airwallet has an interface that lets your own systems read your Airwallet data. You can load transactions, machine status and site data into your reporting system, your data warehouse or your business intelligence tool.
It is available on the Smart plan and on the Business plan. It is not available on the Basic plan. There is no extra fee on top of the plan.
What data you can get

Locations, devices, terminals and coupons also accept create, update and delete requests. Transactions, refunds and wallet top-ups are read only.
How often you can update
You decide the schedule. An update once a day is normal. So is an update every hour.
One request returns up to 10.000 records. You page through larger volumes.
Airwallet holds back the last ten minutes of transactions. Very recent payments can still be settling. Do not treat data from the last ten minutes as final.
What the interface does not do today
It does not return end-user records. Transactions carry a user identifier. You can group activity by user, and you can follow one user over time. You cannot look up the person behind that identifier.
It does not push data to you. Your system asks Airwallet for data. Airwallet does not call your system when something happens. For a daily update this makes no difference.
How to get access
- Get a Dashboard account on the Smart plan or the Business plan. See Plans.
- Send the account email address to your Airwallet contact. Ask for developer access.
- Airwallet turns on developer access. A Developer section then appears in the Dashboard under Settings.
- Generate your key pair in that section. Store the secret key immediately. Airwallet shows the secret key one time only.

The complete specification is in the Dashboard under Settings, then Developer. It covers every endpoint, every parameter and every response. It opens after Airwallet turns on developer access.
There is also a test environment, so your developer can build and test before you go live.
