What is Airwallet+ Total Protect?
Airwallet+ Total Protect is a new option available when you add new device(s) in billing on the dashboard.
It gives you three choices:
- Airwallet+ for new device(s) only
- Airwallet+ Total Protect for new device(s) plus all existing uncovered active devices
- No protection
This option is designed to make it easier to extend Airwallet+ coverage to more of your devices in one step.
Who will see the Total Protect option?
You will only see Airwallet+ Total Protect if you have at least one active device that does not already have Airwallet+.
If all of your active devices are already covered, you will only see the standard Airwallet+ for new device(s) option.
What options will I see when adding new devices?
If you are eligible for Total Protect, you will be able to choose from:
- Protect new device(s) only
- Total Protection for new device(s) and existing uncovered active devices
- No protection
You may also see a message such as:
Includes X existing devices
There will also be a View devices list option so you can download a list of the existing devices included in Total Protect.
How do I know which existing devices are included?
If Total Protect is available to you, the flow will show how many existing uncovered active devices are included.
You can also select View devices list to download the full list of included devices before checkout.
How does pricing work?
If you select Total Protection, your order summary updates immediately to show:
- The cost for your new device(s)
- The cost for your existing uncovered devices
- Your updated total, including tax and discounts where applicable
This helps you review the full price before completing checkout.
Will I see the price change before I pay?
Yes. If you choose Total Protection, the pricing updates right away in the order summary so you can see the full cost before checkout.
What happens if I only want to protect my new device(s)?
You can choose Protect new device(s) only. In that case, Airwallet+ will only be added for the new device(s) you are adding.
Your existing uncovered active devices will remain uncovered.
Can I choose not to add protection?
Yes. You can select No protection if you do not want to add Airwallet+ during that flow.
How will I be billed if I choose Total Protection?
If you choose Total Protection:
- Airwallet+ may be added to multiple existing subscriptions
- The system creates one invoice per affected subscription
- Your first charge is prorated
- Future renewals are added to your normal subscription billing
Because of this, you may see multiple invoices.
Why did I receive multiple invoices?
If Total Protection adds Airwallet+ to devices across more than one subscription, the system will create a separate invoice for each affected subscription.
This is expected behavior.
Why is my first charge different from future charges?
Your first charge may be prorated, which means it is adjusted based on where you are in your current billing cycle.
After that, renewals will usually be charged as part of your normal subscription billing.
Will future renewals be charged separately?
In most cases, future renewals will be added to your normal subscription billing for the relevant subscription.
Why do I not see Total Protect?
You will not see Total Protect if you do not have any active devices without Airwallet+.
In that case, only the standard Airwallet+ option for new device(s) will appear.
Does Total Protect cover inactive devices?
No. Total Protect only includes existing uncovered active devices.
Can I review included devices before checkout?
Yes. If you are eligible, you can use View devices list to download the list of existing devices that will be included with Total Protect.
