Missed Booking Fee - FAQ (User)
What is the Missed Booking Fee?
A fee applied when a user creates a booking but does not start the machine during the reserved time. Its purpose is to reduce no-shows and improve availability for all users.
Why is this being introduced?
A large share of bookings currently go unused, causing avoidable downtime. Testing shows that activating the fee significantly reduces missed bookings.
How much is the fee?
The fee depends on the country.
When is the fee charged?
- First missed booking: The user receives a warning pop-up and is not charged.
- From the second missed booking onward: The user is charged the fee each time.
How are users notified?
Users receive a pop-up warning each time they miss a booking.
The first warning explains the fee without charging the user. Later warnings inform them that the fee will be charged.
