Notice Board - FAQ

Notice Board FAQ

What is Notice Board?

Notice Board is a digital notice board inside the app that lets you share persistent, location-specific information with your laundromat users. It is designed for messages that should stay available over time (unlike push notifications, which are time-sensitive).

Why Notice Board?

To make it easier for laundromat owners to communicate important information (for example: opening hours changes, maintenance updates, pricing notes, rules, and local announcements) in a way that users can always find when they need it.

How is Notice Board different from push notifications?

  • Notice Board: Persistent and always accessible in the app for a specific location.
  • Push notifications: Time-sensitive and easy to miss if a user dismisses them.

Where do I find Notice Board in the dashboard?

In the dashboard left navigation, Notice Board is available as its own module.

What do I see in the Notice Board module?

You will see a table overview across your locations with:

  • Location name
  • User count
  • Active notices
  • Latest change (latest update on any board for that location)

Clicking the row opens that location’s Notice Board.

How many Notice Board messages can I create per location?

This depends on your plan:

  • Basic plan: Notice Board is not available.
  • Smart plan: Up to 1 message per location.
  • Business plan: Up to 5 messages per location.

Can I reorder messages?

Yes. If you have multiple messages (for example on Business), you can drag and drop to change message order.

What will app users see?

  • If there is at least 1 active message, the Notice Board icon is visible in the app.
  • If there are unread messages, a notification counter is shown.

How does the in-app message view work?

  • 1 active message: Users see a simple view and can close it by pressing OK.
  • 2 or more active messages: Users see an expanded view with a page switcher.

In what order are messages shown in the app?

  • New (unseen) messages are always shown first.
  • After new messages, the remaining messages follow the same order as set in the dashboard.
  • Once a new message has been seen at least once, it returns to its original ranking order.
