#3 Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement 2025
Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement 2025
At Airwallet ApS, we remain unwavering in our commitment to ensuring that there is no place for modern slavery or human trafficking in our business or supply chain. This commitment is a core part of our ethical standards and corporate responsibility.
About Airwallet ApS
Founded in Denmark, Airwallet ApS is a growing company in the financial technology sector, providing innovative solutions in digital payments and transactions. We are proud of our ethical approach to business, which extends to every aspect of our operations. With a dedicated team and a growing international presence, we understand the importance of maintaining and promoting high ethical standards.
Organisation Structure and Supply Chains
We adopt a zero-tolerance stance towards modern slavery and human trafficking in our business operations and supply chain. Our recruitment and employment practices are rigorously compliant with all relevant employment laws, and we are confident that our workplace is free from modern slavery and human trafficking. We ensure all employees are legally entitled to work, and we adhere to national wage requirements. Furthermore, we closely monitor and vet our suppliers to ensure they share our ethical standards.
Supplier Code of Conduct
In 2024, we introduced a Supplier Code of Conduct mandating our suppliers to uphold the same high standards against modern slavery. In 2025, we are expanding the implementation of this Code by conducting annual compliance reviews and ensuring that all new suppliers formally acknowledge and sign our Code prior to engagement. This approach ensures that effective systems and controls remain in place to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in their organizations and supply chains.
Due Diligence Processes
Understanding the complexities of our supply chain, we apply a risk-based approach to ensuring no involvement of slavery or human trafficking. We continue to review our suppliers, prioritizing transparency and ethical practices. In 2025, we will strengthen our due diligence process by introducing structured annual risk assessments and maintaining the right to disengage with any supplier who fails to meet our ethical standards.
Staff Training and Risk Identification
We believe in empowering our employees with the knowledge and tools to identify and combat the risks of modern slavery. We continue to provide training and awareness programs to ensure our staff are familiar with our Supplier Code of Conduct and due diligence processes. In 2025, we are introducing a dedicated module on modern slavery risks within our annual compliance training framework.
Objectives for 2025–2026
As Airwallet expands into new markets, we will ensure that our ethical principles guide our partnerships and supplier relationships. Our objectives for the coming 12 months include:
- Completing annual compliance reviews for all key suppliers
- Expanding supplier due diligence to new regions of operation
- Integrating modern slavery risk assessment into onboarding processes
- Rolling out dedicated training for all employees by Q4 2025
This statement is made in accordance with section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and represents Airwallet ApS’s slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year 2025.
