How do I setup Curbside integration?

How do I set up my Curbside integration?

Curbside asks for three values from Airwallet: an API key, a secret and a store identifier. You generate all three yourself in the Airwallet Dashboard. Airwallet never sends you a key.

Your Dashboard account needs the Smart plan or the Business plan. API access is not available on the Basic plan. See Plans.

An Airwallet hub is required for all Curbside integrations regardless if you have an Anton or not.

Step 1: Ask Airwallet for developer access

Send your Dashboard account email address to your Airwallet contact. Ask for developer access.

Airwallet turns on developer access for your account. A Developer section then appears in the Dashboard under Settings.

Step 2: Generate your key pair

Open Settings, then Developer, and generate your key pair. You get an API key and a secret key.

Enter them in Curbside as follows.

Airwallet value

Airwallet Api Key

Your API key

Airwallet Secret

Your secret key

Copy the secret key at the moment you create it. Airwallet shows the secret key one time only. The Dashboard keeps a short prefix for your own reference, not the key itself. If you lose the secret key, generate a new pair.

Step 3: Find your store identifier

The Airwallet Store ID identifies the Airwallet location that holds your machines. Open Locations in the Dashboard and select the location. You can use either of two identifiers.

Your own location code. Open the location settings and set a Custom location ID. Use letters and numbers only, up to 30 characters. The code must be unique across your locations. Use this if you want Curbside to hold your own site code.

The Airwallet location identifier. Open the location and copy the identifier from the address bar, after /locations/.

Step 4: Enter the values in Curbside

Open the Machine Processor settings in Curbside. Select Airwallet as the processor. Enter the API key, the secret and the store identifier. Save the settings.

If the connection fails

Check that you pasted the whole secret key, not the short prefix shown in the Dashboard. This is the most common mistake.

Check that developer access is on. If the Developer section is missing from your Dashboard, Airwallet has not enabled it yet.

If the connection still fails, contact your Airwallet representative. State your Dashboard account email address and the location you are connecting.
