The Hub - Startup Guide

Introduction

The Airwallet Hub is an add-on for your Airwallet system with the following possible advantages:

• You can get realtime information on locations that don’t have Anton.
• Can allow for more smooth operations of Anton in larger locations.
• Allow for remote start without Anton

You need only a few steps to set up the system.

Step 1 - Unboxing

Unpack the box. There should be

• 1 router
• 1 power supply unit
• 1 wifi antenna
• 2 mobile antennas
• 1 attachment kit (including 1 bracket, 2 screws, and 2 rawplugs)

Step 2 - Assemble

• Attach the power plug to the router.
• Attach the  WiFi antenna to the outlet marked “WIFI” on the router.
• Attach the 2 mobile antennas to the outlets marked  “MOBILE”.

Step 3 - Power on

Find a suitable place to attach the router with the included attachment kit. You need to consider the following:

• The router should be placed a central place in relation to the machines and the Anton(s), so it has a good reach to all devices
• Avoid placing it where there are obstacles like walls or pillars between the router and any machines or Anton(s).
• The router should be placed with as few obstacles as possible to the outside, so it can acquire a better mobile signal. You can also use a LAN cable to provide connection (see optional section below)
• Place it out of reach for the users

Step 4 - Add Hub to Dashboard

• Log in to your admin dashboard at https://admin.airwallet.net/
• Go to a given location on Locations -> Location name
• Start Hub setup by clicking "Create hub" in the upper right corner
• Follow the instructions from the illustration and find the following information on the Hub:

1. Serial number
2. MAC address
3. Password

• Save by clicking "Create hub"
• The hub will now feature in the "Hubs" section for the location

Step 6 - Activate Billing on Hub

• Go Billing -> Inactive
• Select the row for your Hub and click 'Subscribe'
• In the popup select the payment of your choice and click 'Subscribe' to active the Hub.
• The Hub is not active and will figure in 'Active'

Step 7 - Setup Hub on Location

Call Airwallet at +45 7870 9999 or reach us by chat to get in touch with our support team. The support team will change the profile of the Anton(s), so it automatically connects to the router. Through the Airwallet app on your phone, they will also allow you to update the firmware of the readers installed in the washing and drying machines to support the added functionality. The support team is available 24 hours a day during weekdays. 

Optional

You can use a LAN cable to establish a connection, but your network must support DHCP for automatic IP address assignment. Additionally, there should be no MAC address whitelisting or VLAN tagging in place.
