Installing Airwallet Unit
Power Connection
- Power down the machine by unplugging or turning off the breaker.
- Locate the 120/240 volt incoming power to the machine. Usually this is connected to the L1 and N or L1 and L2
- Connect Wire 1 from the Airwallet harness to L1 or the Live connection. Usually a BLACK wire.
- Connect Wire 2 from the Airwallet harness to the Neutral or L2 connection. Usually, this connection is WHITE or RED

Coin Connection
Access the main controls of the WASHER/DRYER and locate the 3-pin coin drop connection.

The wire colors may vary on the main coin harness, but the default color is usually RED BLACK WHITE for COIN 1 and YELLOW BLACK WHITE for COIN 2 as shown here:

If the wire colors are different than the colors described here, note the wire locations on the plug. This would be the outside pins on the plug. The wires tapped should be the ones indicated regardless of color.
NO COIN DROP
1. If NO coin drop is to be used, you will need to tap into the RED (coin 1) or YELLOW (coin 2) and WHITE wires with WIRE 3 and 7 to pulse the machine properly. This can be achieved by using either BLUE scotch lock taps or RED 3M 351K Spade taps (recommended).
Pictures are for illustrative purposes only and may not represent the actual colors.
COIN DROP INSTALLED
1. If you are going to keep the coin drop on the machine, this will require an adjustment to the installation. The diagram below should help to achieve this.
2. Locate the WHITE wire on the coin drop harness or the machine harness and cut it leaving enough slack on both ends.
3. Connect WIRE 3 from the Airwallet unit to one side of the cut wire.
4. Connect WIRE 7 from the Airwallet unit to the other cut wire bridging the connection through the Airwallet device.

MOUNTING THE DEVICE
To ensure the wireless signals for the devices are strong and are as fast as possible, it is highly recommended to mount the devices on the outside rear of the machines. If this is not an option, the Airwallet device should be mounted inside the machine with as little metal around it as possible. Some options include:
1. Behind control panel (top loaders)

2. Inside front panel

3. Behind plastic panels
4. In computer pocket

5. If the Dashboard programming has not been done prior, make sure to note the serial number or take pictures of the label on the bottom of the PRO300 unit.

6. Once you have confirmed all connections are made, and the serial numbers are gathered you can reassemble the machine and proceed to the software setup.
INSTALLING FEEDBACK WIRES
If feedback for the busy signal is desired, you will need to modify the Airwallet unit to accommodate for the low voltage feedback of an Alliance machine.
Please note: Not all controls have the feedback option and the manufacturer should be consulted to confirm compatibility. The feedback connection varies from machine to machine, and you may need to refer to the manufacturer website to confirm location of the connection. This guide is for reference only.MODIFYING THE AIRWALLET UNIT
In order to modify the Airwallet unit, you will need to access the internals of the unit. CAUTION: HIGH VOLTAGE! Always power down the machine prior to opening the Airwallet unit!
1. Open the Airwallet unit by removing the four (4) T10 Torx screws from the bottom of the unit. And open the Unit cover.

2. Remove the control board from the unit and locate the wire connecton ports. These are green and have screws on each position.
3. Locate WIRE 5 and loosen the screw holding it in place with a #0 Phillips screwdriver.
4. Move the WIRE 5 to PORT 7. You may need to loosen the screw before you are able to insert the wire. Tighten down the retaining screw to ensure the wire will not come out.

5. Reassemble the unit and proceed to the Airwallet Dashboard for the unit and set the busy signal to LOW

6. Using WIRE 5 and WIRE 6 on the Airwallet unit, connect to pins 4 and 5 on the serial start pulse connector on the control board usually marked H3 but may vary.
If you are using a Universal Harness or PRO340 with 8 wires, you will connect wires 6 and 8 instead.
