Installing Airwallet PRO330

WARNING! Disconnect power or turn off breaker prior to performing this installation.

Washer

1.        Power down the machine by unplugging or turning off the breaker.
2.      Open the top panel of the washer, exposing the main control board.

The board may have a clear plastic cover that will need to be removed to access the board.

3.      Locate the coin connection header on the right side of the board marked JP2/J2
4.      Insert the Airwallet wires 3 and 4 into pins 2 and 3 of the header.

5.      Locate the power relay in the rear of the machine or the input power that supplies 120v-240v and connect the WIRE 1 of the Airwallet device to the L1 or LIVE connection of the Mean Well power supply. Connect the Airwallet WIRE 2 to the L2 or N of the Mean Well power supply located in the rear of the machine. This will power the Airwallet device.

Connecting to the Feedback/Busy Signal
1.        The Kingstar machines get the feedback from the run contactor 9KM1 in the rear of the machine. You will be connecting Airwallet WIRE 6 to terminal 13 and WIRE 8 to terminal 14 of the run relay.

DRYER
1.        Open the rear panel of the dryer pocket you will be installing the Airwallet unit. The Kingstar machines will have separate panels for each pocket on the rear.
2.      Locate the control board inside the pocket and locate the JP7/J7 connector for the coin connection. This is a 3-pin connection and should be populated with 3 wires labeled JP4. This connection goes to the front of the machine to the coin drop control or coin drop directly.

3.      Loosen the set screws and insert the Airwallet wires 3 and 4 into pins 2 and 3 of the connector and tighten the screws to secure the wires.

Connecting to the Power
1.        The Kingstar dryers have three locations to get the power in the rear of the machine. You can connect to the L1 and N of the inverter drive, or you can tap into the power connections going into the power transformer next to the control board. Finally, you can connect to the breaker relay located above the control board.

2.      Mount the reader on the rear of the machine using the 3M tape provided on the bottom of the device.

If the Dashboard programming has not been done prior, make sure to note the serial number or take pictures of the label on the bottom of the PRO400 unit.

1.        Once you have confirmed all connections are made, and the serial numbers are gathered you can reassemble the machine and proceed to the software setup.
